The Creatures of the Night: booktag

booktag

Hello, bookworms

I know, I know, I have been doing A LOT of tags, but they are so much fun and this one in particular I couldn’t resist. I found it over at Beatrice’s blog, and it is called ‘the Creatures of the Night book tag’. The tag lists a number of fictional and supernatural creatures, and you’ll have to choose a book with that particular creature in it. Also, I have been lagging behind on my fantasy lately, and this tag woke up the hunger for fairies, werewolves and the like again.

Vampire

mnmjm

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Am I the most unoriginal book blogger ever if I go with Twilight? It’s just that it is like a classic in the paranormal genre, and needed to be featured (even though I kind of hate it).

Werewolf

nn

The Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater

I read this series over the period of two years, so even though I am not very fond of them, the series are kind of wedged in my long term memory.

Zombie

njnn

The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey

I read this book when I was slightly too young for it, and it creeped me out. The book contains the deadly combination (for a twelve-year-old) of being gruesome and catchy at once.

Ghost

jnszlkiAS

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Does this book count, I am not sure it does. I mean, the kids should technically be dead in 2015 but time travel and such. This book is a perfect showcase of that I should start reading Fantasy again.

Witch

HJESD'FWALEGK

HARRY POTTER!

The one and only true book about witches and wizards.

Fairy and Demon

I am going to leave these out because I can’t think of any *silently sobs in a corner*.

Angel

jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj

Hidden by Marianne Curley

I absolutely hated this book, and I vowed to never read an angel book again, meaning that this is the only book I could pick.

Alien

swtrqu

The Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness

Because Spackle are amazing.

Human with superpowers

xszuksdg

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

I finished Scarlet a while ago(my first fantasy book in a long time) and I LOOOVED IT! I liked Cinder a little better, but I am very excited to see where the Lunar Chronicles is going.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I am going to tag:

Ariana @The Quirky Book Nerd

Raisa @bookersblogger

Lockiegirl @The Teacup Library

But feel free to do this tag if you feel like it.

Bye, Sophie

P.S Somebody please recommend me a good fairy or demon book, I am in a desperate need for one!
